- Dry clean only, especially to preserve the zari and butta work and silk finish
- Do not hand wash, machine wash, soak, bleach, or wring
- Avoid spraying perfume or deodorant directly onto the saree
- Iron on a low-heat silk setting from the reverse side
- Place a thin cotton cloth between the saree and the iron
- Do not iron directly over printed, zari, or decorative areas
- Store folded in a cool, dry place, preferably wrapped in muslin or soft cotton
